Get a library card?

Getting a Library card with us is very easy, all we need is:

  1. Your name, along with anyone else you’ll be allowing to use your account
  2. MAILING address (if you live in town it will need to be your P.O. Box number)
  3. Phone Number
  4. Email Address (not required)

A limit of three books and one DVD can be checked out for a period of four months following issuance of a new library card.  The four-month limited checkout will be extended if the new patron violates checkout policy.

 

Loan Periods/Limits

Books
Limit: 30 per household account
Loan Period: 2 weeks

DVD’s
Limit: 2 per household account
Loan Period: 3 days

Magazines
Limit: 3 per household account
Loan Period: 3 days

 

Internet Use Form

The Plains Community Library requires that a parent/guardian complete an Internet Use Form to all children (under the age of 18) that are wanting to use our public patron computers to access the internet. Parent MUST come into the library to complete the Internet Use Form.

Children must be at least 8 years old to use the computers without an accompanying adult. Ages 2-7 may use the AWE computer located in our children’s corner without supervision.
